    Local cosmic string and C-field

We investigate a local cosmic string with a phenomenological energy momentum tensor as prescribed by Vilenkin, in presence of C-field . The solutions of full nonlinear Einstein's equations for exterior and interior regions of such a string are presented.Comment: 7 page

Entanglement cost of two-qubit orthogonal measurements

The "entanglement cost" of a bipartite measurement is the amount of shared entanglement two participants need to use up in order to carry out the given measurement by means of local operations and classical communication. Here we numerically investigate the entanglement cost of generic orthogonal measurements on two qubits. Our results strongly suggest that for almost all measurements of this kind, the entanglement cost is strictly greater than the average entanglement of the eigenstates associated with the measurements, implying that the nonseparability of a two-qubit orthogonal measurement is generically distinct from the nonseparability of its eigenstates.Comment: Latex, 4 pages, minor change

Non-Abelian Gauged Chiral Boson with a Generalized Faddevian Regularization

We consider non-Abelian gauged version of chiral boson with a generalized Faddeevian regularization. It is a second class constrained theory. We quantize the theory and analyze the phase space. It is shown that in spite of the lack of manifest Lorentz invariance in the action, it has a consistent and Poincare' invariant phase space structure.Comment: 10 pages latex fil

Chiral QED in Terms of Chiral Boson with a Generalized Fadeevian Regularization

Chiral QED with a generalized Fadeevian regularization is considered. Imposing a chiral constraint a gauged version of Floranini-Jackiw lagrangian is constructed. The imposition of the chiral constarint has spoiled t he manifestly Lorentz covariance of the theory. The phase space structure for this theory has been det ermined. It is found that spectrum changes drastically but it is Lorentz invariant. Chiral fermion di sappears from the spectra and the photon anquire mass as well. Poincare algebra has been calculated to show physicial Lorentz invariance explicitely.Comment: 11 page

Thin Domain Walls in Lyra Geometry

    Get PDF
This paper studies thin domain walls within the frame work of Lyra Geometry. We have considered two models. First one is the thin domain wall with negligible pressures perpendicular and transverse direction to the wall and secondly, we take a particular type of thin domain wall where the pressure in the perpendicular direction is negligible but transverse pressures are existed. It is shown that the thin domain walls have no particle horizon and the gravitational force due to them is attractive.Comment: 8 pages, typos are corrected, published Astrophysics and Space Sciences 305, 337 (2006

Thin shell wormhole due to dyadosphere of a charged black hole

To explain Gamma Ray Bursts, Ruffini argued that the event horizon of a charged black hole is surrounded by a special region called, the Dyadosphere where electric field exceeds the critical value for e+e^+ e−e^- pair production. In the present work, we construct a thin shell wormhole by performing a thought surgery between two dadospheres. Several physical properties of this thin shell wormhole have been analyzed.Comment: 10 pages, 2 figures. Accepted in Mod.Phys.Lett.
